"Staying Alive and Other Poems"
by Jaqueline Becker, PH.D
From the Publisher
This is such a moving collection of poetry all we can do is quote Dr. Becker's introduction to give you a peek, "Even though the cancer reality is a profoundly shaking experience, life proceeds, anger, pain, joy, memories, goals and visions all proceed. Therefore, live, love, rage, cry, laugh, struggle, hurt, heal - but do it. Stay Alive. Stay related. Connect, and if you need to call, call."
From the Author
In one of the poems I write, "Taped to time we stretch across a space Lighting a moment in a breath God blew." Through this little book of poems I attempt to illustrate how important it is to enter every moment, even the ones we don't like.
